According to Hits Daily Double, the projected numbers would be 200,000+ copies sold. This number would leave Kendrick at number 2. Taking the first place spot is predicted to be Taylor Swift with her album Red, which is projected to sell over 1+million copies
Regardless of first week sales, and the numbers, Kendrick Lamar's debut album can still viewed as a classic and masterpiece. It's still a strong number for a first album, and especially comjng from hip hop/rap genre which don't make top 3 so often.
