Justin Bieber Set to Cover VIBE magazine

The Bieber fever has not died down just yet. In the new issue of VIBE, Justin Bieber is set to cover. It goes along with a sort of day to day article titled The Normal, Abnormal Life of Justin. It details when he went on the Ellen show, where he is waiting backstage ready to perform. In the article he is quoted in his grown man status saying: 

"You can't let it (nervousness) show. You have to be a professional"

It also tries to detail how he deals with his upcoming music tour, the release of his new album, and being around his boo Selena Gomez. The kid does it all, and he's only 18.

Kendrick Lamar Collaborates with Lady Gaga

It doesn't come much of a surprise that the Compton native Kendrick Lamar, a.k.a K. Dot, has been getting much more attention than usual. His recent festival tour across the country and his recent single Swimming Pools has been a big hit.

On one of his significant stop on his tour, he made a friend along the way. While at the Pitchfork festival, he ran into the mama monster Lady Gaga who was in attendance for his set and were both caught chatting up backstage. Many wanted to see something between the two super talented artists collaborate. Today Lady Gaga announced through her  Twitter, and Instagram that they made a song for Kendricks upcoming album. On Instagram she captions:

I am so excited to announce that a record I've been working on has now become a collaboration with @kendricklamar for HIS ALBUM. It is dropping Sept. 6. It's called "PARTYNAUSEOUS" 

This track should be an interesting track to say the least.

Lady Gaga has debuted her perfume ad for Fame which is her fragrance she's coming out with through her "Haus laboratories" line. It doesn't come off as weird as in the case for Gaga since she is no stranger to the weird, so she doesn't shy away to maker her commercial the same.

After touring around Europe and Canada, U.S fans who didn't get to attend his first tour in the states can now enjoy Abel through his new dates. Azelia Banks and Diplo Covers VIBE

For VIBE's second addition to 'what's new?' issue, called "the Juice" cover, they have Harlem's Yung Rapunzel, Azelia Banks. Alongside her is Diplo is the Philly DJ, producer. They are both together as a sort of way to introduce the big trend in allowing DJ's turned producers collaborate with not just Hip Hop artists, but also wtih other genres. Coming off their upcoming album Beacon, they bring some visuals to their single Sleep Alone. It almost seems like the scene from Harry Potter when Harry and Ron try and escape from the Hogwarts Express, which in this case, frontman Alex Trimble fits in as Ron Weasley.

 Album is set to release on the 4th of September in the U.S, and the 3rd for UK fans.

Ro Ransom x Ransomnia (Mixtape)

Review

 Ro Ransom, former name Nero, released his anticipated mixtape Ransomnia. It features some known names in it, such as aarabMuzik, Chuck inglish, Cassey Veggies, Rich hil. Released through illroots, it has gotten much buzz by many hip hop blogs. 

 The first song that i heard from the mixtape was "Deadman Wonderland" which features a sample from an old M.I.A song which then made me curious as into what the rest sounded like. I wasn't disappointed. Even though this is his first mixtape, it's a good debut. It comes out as both dark, mysterious, and lyrically engaging. He dives into some deep topics about his life, things such as having a difficult time to trust people after his heart broken. Many of the songs have a somber feel to it, but there are also tracks that are upbeat like "All the reasons why" which puts a balance in the feeling of the whole mixtape.

  There isn't much to criticize about the "Young Coyote's" debut mixtape. It's a solid beginning for this New York kid who has much potential to become a known name in the hip hop game. He still has a long way to go. I expect much more music from Ro in the future.
